Watch out world! Here comes Ava!!!

At the Fair

We took Ava to the fair with Mark's parents, Ron and Helga. She liked the animals, liked watching the people, and LOVED the ice cream. Ron kept putting her down to get a closer look at the animals, but all Ava wanted to do was crawl on the dirty ground-I don't think so! She saw the goats, sheep, pigs, cows, and rabbits. She was too little to ride any of the rides, even if I had accompanied her, so we can look forward to those next year.

Ava's 1st birthday

I know this is a little late, but I didn't have a blog on her birthday! Anyway, despite the little munchkin having a temperature of 101, she had a great first birthday party. She loved her cake and got it all over-like she was supposed to! We had the party in Mark's parent's backyard and the weather was perfect. Ava rode her trike and gave everyone a good laugh. The following week, we went down to my Mom and John's and had her picture taken at the Picture People.
